About the Event
“The Adventures of Tintin” is a series of comic albums created by Belgian cartoonist Herge. It tells the story of Tintin, a young Belgian reporter. In “The Blue Lotus,” probably the most legendary episode among the adventures of this famous Belgian reporter, Tintin is invited to Shanghai amid the 1931 Japanese invasion.
We will immerse ourselves in a two and a half hour walk following the footsteps of Tintin and his faithful companion, Snowy the dog. We will explore the commonalities and differences between the original comic and real life at the time. We will learn about Shanghai in the 1930’s and discover all the secrets of Tintin in Shanghai. The walk is approximately three km.
This event is family friendly and for all ages.
