About the Event

With just a simple plant or needle, traditional Chinese medicine has turned into cures for countless types of illnesses and has spread to many areas of the world. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has a history of over 3000 years. It follows the ancient principles of yin and yang believing that people’s existence, growth, behavior, and death are inseparable from nature. Adhering to the laws of nature, revering life, balancing yin and yang, and bringing unification, TCM has evolved and developed into many forms of treatment such as herbal medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion, tuina, massage, cupping and guasha, and qigong and food therapy, all with the aim of bringing the body back into maintaining good health.

We will have an English-speaking TCM doctor, Lee Ann, explain the basics: yin and yang,  laws of nature and human unification, the forms of TCM treatment, and share with us tips that'll help us maintain and improve health in our daily lives.
