About the Event
With just a simple plant or a needle, traditional Chinese medicine has turned into cures for countless types of illnesses and has spread to many areas of the world. Traditional Chinese Medicine, known as TCM, has a history of over 3000 years. It follows the ancient principles of Yin and Yang believing that people’s existence, growth, behavior and death are inseparable from nature. Adhering to the laws of the nature, revering life, balancing yin and yang and bringing unification, TCM has evolved and developed to many forms of treatment such as herbal medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion, Tuina Massage, Cupping and Guasha, Qigong and food therapy; all with the aim of bringing the body back into maintaining good health.
We will have an English speaking professional TCM doctor, Lee Ann, who has practiced 15 years in TCM hospital explaining to us the basics: Yin and Yang, laws of nature and human unification, the forms of TCM treatment, and share with us some tips that'll help us maintain and improve health in our daily lives.
