About the Event

Join Clarisse from Arcade for a 2.5-hour guided walk through the Wutong area in Shanghai’s historic city center, an area that historically formed part of Shanghai’s former French Concession.

As we walk through streets lined with plane trees, we’ll discover fascinating stories about this part of the city, visit gardens and historic buildings, experience local life, and discover exceptional architecture.

Along the way, we’ll learn more about the history of this charming area, including its origins, development, and the people who have shaped it over the years, while uncovering the stories hidden behind its buildings.
