About the Event
This topic will give an insight on how Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) heals the body through acupuncture. Acupuncture is the TCM healing method which consists of placing needles on the body along the meridians. The Chinese believe that the vital energy Qi ensures a smooth functioning of the body. Qi flows along the meridians which are the channels of energy. Discover how this method relieves pain and promotes health and wellbeing by restoring a free flow of Qi. Also, get to know a few acupressure techniques which you can practice on yourself and family to feel better following the TCM principles. Note: an acupuncture trial will be available during the session.
Marla Anastasia Sulindro, originally from Indonesia, holds a Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine degree from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, majoring in internal medicine and TCM Osteopathy & Traumatology.
