About the Event
Geng Jianyi (1962-2017) is one of the pivotal artists who defined the emergence of Chinese contemporary art. Through his posthumous solo exhibition “Who Is He?” held at the Power Station of Art, join Julie Chun (Adjunct Professor of Art History) as we discuss Geng’s important and far-reaching artistic contributions not only to the early development of Chinese contemporary art but also his impact on the next generation of Chinese artists.
