About the Event
With the new collaboration between the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and the Yuz Museum, the exhibition “In Production: Art and the Studio System” draws from LACMA’s prominent collection to explore the relationship between visual art and film. Julie Chun (Adjunct Professor of Art History) will lead us in a private guided museum talk to navigate the diverse works by Southern California-based artists to discuss the visual power of moving images as an integral format and process of art’s creation, production, and consumption.
